I think trees will always fascinate me. I've been known to hug them, sit against them and simply gaze in wonder as their roots dig deep into our Earth Mother and the branches reach high to the heavens. Majestically mystical . . . they bring a sense of calm and peace to me. They are the "Guardians of the Forest!"
Lately I have been trying my hand at card making and I must admit this hobby is one I find enjoyable and relaxing. It’s amazing how many memories it brings back … reminiscent of years gone by when the children and I would color during their quiet time.
I love the handi-work of Suzanne's calligraphy. Her website, "Quietfire Designs" demonstrates her wonderful talent. I'm so impressed with the incredible artists who use her stamps that I decided to try my hand at creating a card. Needless to say, her wonderful "Trees" stamp caught my eye. Thank you Suzanne, I'm loving this stamp!
Herons have always fascinated me. I often sit and watch their graceful movements. They are, without doubt, a constant reminder to tread slowly when deeper waters summon and to do so with trust and without fear.
One day while surfing the net I came across a wonderful site "Earth ArtInternational" and immediately fell in love with Sue Coccia’s original art of animal spirits.
She does an amazing job creating these wonderful stamps. I wanted to share with you a card I created using Sue's Heron stamp. There are so many fine little details within the stamp and I don't think my camera did this justice. So head on over and see for yourself. I know you too will be impressed!
